Courtesy of the Pro All Star Series, here are the rules for Thompson Pro Stocks competing in the May 15th PASS sanctioned event.
Thompson Pro Stocks can compete in PASS races using Thompson rules with the following allowances.
Allowance 1: Ford # 2800 (#2825 if muffler or intake are changed) minimum weight (58% max. left side weight). GM # 2775 (#2800 if muffler or intake changed) minimum weight (58% max. left side weight).
Allowance 2: 600 cfm (or 500 cfm) Carburetor (PASS Legal) with 2101, 7101 (Chev) or 2181, 2665, 2750, 2782 (Ford), or 2176 (Chrys) Intake Manifold. If Thompson legal intake manifold isnt used, #25 added as stated above.
Note: All other Thompson Rules apply or must adhere to PASS Rules and weights.
PASS Cars minimum weight will be # 2875 for perimeter & # 2900 for straight rail, ABC Bodies # 2850 for perimeter & 2875 for straight rail, Downforce Bodies #2950 for perimeter & #2975 for straight rail. (# 50 addition).
PASS Cars minimum spoiler height is 5 & 38 from ground, maximum 6 & 41 from ground. ABC Bodies maximum spoiler height is 7 & 42 from ground.
Thompson Officials must agree Car is Thompson Legal.
