True Value Modified Crew Member Loses Life in Highway Wreck

The Hartford Courant has reported that True Value Modified Racing Series crew member Dick Mills lost his life Sunday night in a highway wreck in Vermont. Mills, 59, was involved in the wreck where he hit a moose in the road on I-91 after the TVMRS race earlier in the day at Thunder Road Speedbowl (VT). Mills was a crew member for the Rhode Island-based father-daughter Perry Motorsports team of Butch and Shelly Perry.

Thank you WMT for posting this unfortunate news. While I did not know Dick personally, I always saw him around all the area race tracks and different series giving advice or lending a helping hand to different teams throughout the years.
