According to an article on SpeedTv, taken from the Charlotte Observer, Nascar has fired official Woody Neese in regards to the matter of the disqualification of the #1 team at Texas. Nascar had no comment on the matter, but the article sheds light on the fact that the #1 cars carburetor was inspected and sealed on Thursday, and then the same untampered with Carb was found illegal after the race on Saturday, apparently leading Nascar to believe the illegal carb was overlooked by officials on Thursday.
