Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
The following comes directly from Shawn Courchesne's article poste at The Hartford Courant:
So last week we were openly wondering if the Speedbowl would be becoming Kobyluck International Raceway any time soon.
Matt Kobyluck, the 2009 Camping World East Series champion and former regular at Waterford, is a member of the track's new Board of Directors.
But track owner Terry Eames said Saturday that it won't be Kobyluck doing the bailout thing.
The track is scheduled to be foreclosed on by mortgage holder Rocco Arbitell on March 2, though Eames continues to insist that the financing will be there to stop the foreclosure.
Ok, so is it going to be the Kobyluck International Test Track? Maybe?
Wait, wait, wait. Now that I think about it, how about the Kobyluck International Quarter Midget track on the grounds of the Waterford Speedbowl? Kobylucks's son Kyle has become a regular on the Quarter Midget circuits around the area. Hmmm
