Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
With the help of veteran crewchief Denis Pruhnik, Justin Gaydosh's 2005 New Smyrna hopes have been restored. After a crash during the first night of competition, the damage extensive enough to take him out of the race, by 1:00pm on Saturday the car is repaired and ready to roll in night number two.
Denis, having track championships as car owner/crew chief in both Tour-type Mod and SK divisions, with Jimmy Broderick as his driver, is rumored to be returning to competition in the 2005 Thompson International Speedway Sunoco Modified division. He apparently will be putting on the dual hat again as car owner/crew chief, with Danbury's own George "Mad Dog" Bessette wheeling the mount. I'm sure that that will be a team in contention from week to week, and we at MakingLaps.com wish the collaboration much success.
