Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Nascar has announced that the Limerock Park date has been moved back to the traditional fall position on the schedule and will be the season ender for the Busch North Series. The event is slated to be run on September 31st and October 1st. Follow the link for the complete story. http://nascarregionalracing.com/story.asp?News_ID=8418&Series_ID=4
You know rowe24, that I personally have always been a great fan of the BGNN race held in the fall at Limerock Park. There's nothing like traveling up Rte.7 that time of year to enjoy the foliage. Sitting on the hill in a folding chair with a picnic lunch of "wine, brie and crackers" with the other yacht club members...(the analogy is accurate) and watching what part of the race you can view. A very quiet camping weekend, as well. And then, as soon as the BGNN race is over, closing up camp and traveling about 80 mph on the Mass Pike to get to Thompson for the "busch beer and bonfires"! Is this year gonna be the same? Is the World Series the same weekend? I haven't checked. I hope so.
