Being the big Broderick fan that I have been for years, I thought the same thing. But the Openwheelracer neglected to specify that he was speaking of Tour-type Mods. But you are correct, Jimmy was the only outsider to win the Turkey Derby in a Wall-Mod Sk type car.
FYI: That was in the Circle Asphalt#40! Mac even worked on that car.

Sorry everyone, should have been more specific. Who was the only "Tour Type" Modified Turkey Derby winner who was and "outsider". And interesting note: in the history of Wall Speedway from all the information i have seen, there has only been 4 Modified drivers who were outsiders who won on the tough high banked 1/3 mile, the already mentioned Jimmy Broderick, Gene Bergin, Ron "Boots" Cote (yes bootsie in a mod") and the driver who is the subject of the trivia question. Heres some hints: his Derby win was in the 70s, and he still races Modifieds today.
