Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
MakingLaps.com's last Race Tour was in Darlington, S.C 11/12-11/14/04.
It rained torrentially at times, postponing not only NNC Qualifying, but Busch, as well as the Cratftsman Truck race scheduled to run Friday under the lights.
Our Pit tours were rain or shine, and get wet, we did!
Saturday was very overcast, and cold. Some Cup drivers were forced to bring out their backup cars.
While others ran quite well during happy hour.
Cup drivers took this opportunity to "Make Wishes Come True". While others did interview after interview!
We had a hard time on Sunday saying goodbye to this historic event. As the sun set over turn 4, the fans showed their sadness at having to say farewell to this monumental race. Hopefully, NASCAR at least will retain Darlington on their schedule for other Cup events. MakingLaps.com will certainly return as fans to the track "Too Tough To Tame".
Until next time,
