Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
While retaining the integrity of the 2004 Message Board, we wanted to be able to organize posts, and break things down a little better. We think you will find the new format to be useful, simple to navigate, and more visually appealing. The basics are the same, but we went to a multi-section format to be able to achieve those goals. Please try it. Your comments and suggestions are encouraged on the board or privately to webmaster@makinglaps.com, our AOL friends can reach us at MakingLaps@aol.com, as well as AIM to MakingLaps.
TOOLBAR:
MakingLaps.com FORUM:On the Mainpage at the top is a toolbar. Wherever you are in the forum you can click on the forum link to get immediately back to the MainPage.
SEARCH: Easily find what you are looking for. Type in a couple of words i.e; Stafford Results. A page will open with threads that include those keywords, but only in this forum. Driver names, and usernames work as well.
LIST ALL USERS: Brings up the current list of all regstered users. From there you can send private messages to other members, (if they have enabled that feature). You can also view their details that they have allowed you to see, including some email addresses.
USER DETAILS: A quick link to view your own details, this allows you easy access to edit your information and settings.
ARCADE: We chose a few vintage video games to place in our forums. (Mostly for use during those long race nights waiting for the eyewitness reports.) Registered members need to Login to play, you can submit your scores and the top ten will be listed. MakingLaps.com Forum will surprise our members with some giveaways for highscores. We included Tetris, Space Invaders, Asteroids, and Pacman. Have a favorite? There are many to choose from, put in request and we'll see what we can do.
LINKS: Useful quick links to other Racing Sites. If you would like us to add your site to our board, please submit requests to webmaster@makinglaps.com.
OLD FEATURES RETURNING:
Due to the enthusiasm of our live chatroom, we plan on continuing the "Real-Time Chat" on Friday nights, from the Stafford Motor Speedway for all four division's Main Events. Join us in the spring, beginning with The Sizzler for the Chat Room Link.

I really like the new format. It is just sad that there are really only a couple of other boards that deal with this kind a racin.
One of them has a bunch of snotty people who are always right and the other well, needless to say I had to block that thing so my kids wouldn't read it. been a member since the beginning, but haven't posted much. I'm gonna start though. Thanks
