Since we do not allow profanity, we chose a board with acceptable emoticons to provide a means of getting your point accross. They can make your posts more exciting. Feel free to use them anytime.
Most common emoticons are automatically replaced by a corresponding graphic in whatever text they appear. You can also specify a specific emoticon by picking it from the emoticons box, or entering it directly.
To enter an emoticon directly, simply type its name surrounded by colons (only), for example () produces and () will give you .
I personally have found the library of smilies to be quite extensive, there are many more than listed on the posting page. Simply click on the more emoticons hyperlink which will bring you the complete list. Right click on the one you want, click copy, close the smiley page, and drop the emoticon by clicking on the intended area in your post and right click, then paste.
