MONTMAGNY, QC The Montmagny 100 Late Model stock car event for the Série ACT Castrol at Autodrome Montmagny Speedway in Montmagny, QC, postponed by rain on Saturday, May 31, has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 1:00 pm. The pit area will open to race teams at 9:00 am, with practice sessions beginning at 10:30 am. Qualifying heats will begin at 1:00 pm. Autodrome Montmagny Speedway is a high-banked 1/3-mile asphalt oval, located on Chemin St-Leon in Montmagny, QC, east of Québec City. The Série ACT Castrol will be in action next at Autodrome Chaudière in Vallée-Jct., QC on Saturday, June 14 at 6:30 pm. Karl Allard of St-Félicien, QC and 2007 Série ACT Castrol Champion Patrick Laperle of St-Denis-sur- Richelieu, QC are tied for the series championship point lead after the opening event at Autodrome St-Eustache last month.
