You are the closest so far Matt. but it is highere than that. Anothe HINT- NASCAR combined both thier Sportsman and Modified Division together for this EARLY DAYS event.

I think I read somewhere one time about a race with 141 cars in it....If I'm wrong I give.....And it seems like everyone else has as well WMT, so go ahead an reveal the answer............
Ths story I was reading was about the second race old Daytona Beach Road Course that used the beach itself and A1A. They combined both the Mofied and Sportsmen Divisions for a total of 136 cars.
