Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Not all drivers took the weekend off: A pair of veteran NASCAR drivers spent part of their Easter weekend racing in north Georgia Saturday evening. Bill Elliott finished fifth in a Legends race in the Masters class at Lanier National Speedway in Braselton. About 50 miles to the north on Interstate 85, Ken Schrader wound up fourth in the Super Late Model at Lavonia Speedway. And Kasey Kahne finished 14th at a spring car race at Williams Grove in Mechanicsburg PA on Friday and on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown PA, he failed to make the feature and declined a provisional start. Also six Nextel Cup regular's ran the Nationwide Series Race in Nashville: Bowyer, Edwards, Kyle Busch, Reutimann, Ragan and Hamlin, which was won my Scott Wimmer.(3-23-2008)
