I like that you put a list together. Couple notes. Pretty sure no more V4 next year, I knew Charlie P. sold his car, didn't know he got a Troyer, Reggie in the #14. Also, Teddy will be in the 36 if Eddie decides to run the full season. Woody's out of the 79.
Wheeler, Great S.S roster I read that the #48 car owners are retiring also leaving T.Hisrchman without a ride.? Also J.Marosz is looking for a Tour ride he can supply a hauler and crew.?

Not on your list is the 40 car of that spoiled rich kid from kensington ct. Ryan Preece. His Daddy will spend any amount of money because he is you know the next Jeff Gordon.

If he'll spend any amount of money why didn't he have the "big steam" Ford power? Also, they only had one car, which was in its 3rd season. Look for a brand new jet black #40 next season.
Look for Renee Dupris driving the Black 59 that M.Hirschman drove last year.I think the car owners name is Fred Benet. That leaves MH driving the white 59 the whole season in 08.

Great. I thought she was going to run the True value series. What hasn't she hit in the last few years on the Tour?

Word is Daddy built a new Troyer, Bought a new Hauler , and is buying a new Midget.
They did build a new car, they were going to TRADE their hauler but didn't, and from what I heard they aren't buying a new midget. They rented one from Bertrand for a few races last year. Doesn't mean they aren't gonna buy one midget though. They spend a lot less money than a lot of other teams on the tour. You saying that guys like Sammons, Grigas, Lia, Pasteryak, Silk and Berndt are all spoiled because their parent have helped out financially in their racing careers?
A couple drivers that MAY be in competition in 2008 not on the list are the #05 of Hartman, the #09 of Grigas, and the #47 of Storace. Also look for more Southern drivers to attempt a few races. Andy Suess and Tom Abell Jr., from the TVMRS, will also probably attempt a few WMT events and Mike Herman Jr. is scheduled to attempt both WMT and WSMT events on a limited schedule.

That car was designed by "that spoiled rich kid from kensington ct. Ryan Preece."
Also, per Erick Rudolph's website
"Currently it looks like Erick will be running 6-8 Whelan tour events, the entire ROC tour, as many local modified shows as available. The SST will be renumbered #45 and will run between 15 and 20 shows. Erick will also be looking to run between 10 to 15 dirt shows with the NYMM series."
Okay folk's first off, I just want to say welcome to some of the new members and Anon posters that have stopped in recently and joined in on our discussions in the WMT section.
Secondly, a post that was made by and Anon earlier today in this thread has been deleted. The person who made the post hopefully would know why, and we apoligize if anyone was offended by what the post suggested.
Lastly, we enjoy a good adult discussion about racing just as much as the next forum, and we don't even mind a little critisizm and a little freindly smack talk, but bashing drivers for things that have nothing to do with what happend or happens on the race track, or making suggestive posts, or using vulgar language is not gonna fly here as it doesn't on the other boards.
We have enough volunteers who keep an eye on the board when we can't and if that doesn't work we'll go to members only if needed.
We just don't want the one or two bad apples out there to ruin it for the bunch.
All, Word is Eric Berndt has a new Troyer car ordered to compete on the Tour in 2008. He joins R. Summers & C. Pasteryak moving over to the Troyer camp. This leaves just the #2 team running CD cars on the WMT.
My friend Zach Truesdail came up with this great quote a few days ago
"You can't spell victory lane without Troyer"
Troyer cars make up a majority of the field, and won 10 of the 16 races, (2 by CD, both by Szegedy, 3 by raceworks, all by Civali, 1 BRE by Santos). They are the chassis to beat on the tour, but they aren't unstopable by any means. CD cars will continue to dominate SK though.
and the fact is raceworks builds THE BEST tour mods out there. only reason im not in one is because they just dont seem to work in an sk where theres not as much power to drive them off the corners like in a tour car.
Another reason why a CD chassis works so well as an SK, especially at Stafford. They seem to flex the right amount for the power, along with the 2 torque arms to get the bite off. However at the Bowl and Thompson you can get a Troyer or a Raceworks to work(If anyone tried to work with one and find how it works as an SK) because they get the power to the ground better due to being stiffer and can get the bite that you need to get off the corner well at both tracks. The fact pretty much is that a CD chassis does not go well as a Tour car, flexes too much for the power, and none are really successful. You can't count the 2 car since there is so much more into it, and it is not like any other CD car.

Are you sure about the bowl? 4 wins in 3 seasons by non CD cars.
Almost no one runs anything but CD at the Bowl. All the successful and established teams run them. Look at the 1 and 58 cars that Ronnie Silk drove, both pretty much the fastest thing there when they ran. Charette was always quick for the most part with his car, as well as the 49 which is a Spafco. Its hard for them to win when there aren't that many out there racing. Take a look at Jimmy Blewett and Matt Hirschman at the 150, both were 2 of the fastest cars.
