Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
From Whowon.com:Saturday, the 20th of October, will see the top Late Model division drivers from throughout the northeast converge on Mountain Speedway for the NELMA Late Model challenge. 100 laps will be the distance for the full bodied race cars and $2000 will go to the driver who can rise to the occasion and best the top talent. A special Street Stock Showdown will also be part of the racing card that day, as the ultra competitive grass roots racers compete for the $1000 prize in the 75 lap event. If that isn't enough, a Pro Truck challenge will see pick up truck bodied racing vehicles compete in a 30 lap event. The tail gate brigade, as they have come to be known, will be made up of race trucks from tracks around the Northeast, in an open competition event which should be something you won't want to miss.
