Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
by Chris Ragle CHINA GROVE, N.C. -- NASCAR Busch East driver Rich Gould will look to carry the momentum of a top-ten run and new sponsor North American River Runners. Inc. (NARR.com) to his favorite track on the circuit, Dover International Speedway. The twenty-four degree high banked one mile oval will play host to not only the NASCAR Busch East series on September 21st but the cars and stars of the NASCAR Busch and Nextel Cup series on September 22nd and 23rd.
In their last outing, the Rich Gould Racing team turned some heads with a tenth place finish at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee after starting shotgun on the field in last position because of a problem with the car during the teams qualifying lap. Now headed to the track that the New Jersey native enjoys the most, a lot of high hopes will be on the mind of the driver.
I am so excited about heading to Dover; it is my favorite track out of any other track I have ever been on. We have spent a lot of time on the car to make sure we had the best of everything since we got back from Nashville and I truly feel that we have a good shot for a top-five at Dover. I want to thank all the folks associated with North American River Runners from the ownership, employees, and adventurous enthusiasts they have, they are all apart of the team week in and week out, stated Gould.
There will be some extra help that may put the Rich Gould Racing team a leg up on its competitors as Richs brother, Phil Gould; coming off his first NASCAR Nextel win just last week at New Hampshire International Speedway is the car chief for NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Clint Bowyer will be in attendance to help consult the team throughout the event.
