The RTE Transmissions No. 55 Troyer-Chevrolet driver went on to hold off Rob Schultz by 2.304 sec. after 30 laps. Reed would recieved the accolades for his second Wall NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature win of the year in victory lane - but not before Jamie Tomaino brought out Blewett's No. 76 modified to lead the 40th lap alone. Both Reed and Tomaino parked their respective cars in the banked paved one-third-mile oval's infield to recieve Blewett family members and racing officials. The near capacity audience and participants came to honor Blewett's life and career. The defending NASCAR WAAS track champ was killed in a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race accident at Thompson (Conn.) International Speedway Thursday.

Tributes included an open pole "missing man" formation for both the modified and the USAC Wirtgen Ford Focus Northeast Midget Series and pledge drives that night and Sunday for the John W.
