Are sincere condolences go out to the entire Blewett family.
I have struggled for almost a day now trying to write a few words here about John III because I think we have lost one of the few true real racers left in our community.
John was definitely an old school racer in my book. He had a no nonsense, hard charging, take no prisoners style that was just a blast to watch in todays racing world of politically correct vanilla drivers.
I think he would have easily fit in with the likes of Evans, Jarzombek, and others from racing days gone bye and now unfortunately for all of us he joins all of them to race in another place.
I too had a really hard time with this one. While we were not best of friends, I kind of got to know John through my years of working with different Tour teams. Always a hard charger, and a guy you just did not mess with. But to me it was his true passion for winning, and still having fun while doing it. Like Openwheel said, I guess he is up there racing with the other legends we have lost now.
RIP JB III you will be missed.
