The engines roar to life on Sunday afternoon, May 13th to start the 57th consecutive season of racing at the Oswego Speedway. The week ends with another race on Saturday, May 19th. Coca-Cola and JakesAutomotive will be sponsoring the "Opening Week" races on May 13th and May 19th which will kick off the 2007 season for the Novelis Supermodifieds, the PathFinder Bank SBS Racing Series and the RoC Parts Plus Modifieds at the Oswego Speedway. A FREE Pre-race preview of the night's events will kick off our coverage at 12:45pm ET with the return of the Fleet Pride Pre-race report. Once racing begins at 4pm, live streaming video and audio coverage will continue for all qualifying events, highlighted by the Memorial Day Weekend races from the fast 5/8 asphalt oval at Oswego Speedway. We hope to enhance our coverage even more in 2007, so be sure not to miss a minute of the LIVE Video action if you are unable to get to the Oswego Speedway. Thomas Video Productions will continue both video and audio coverage of racing action at the Oswego Speedway in 2007 for registered users of the Oswego Speedway website. Seven dates have been selected for video coverage with one of those dates being a "Free Preview". Audio coverage will be available weekly at no charge as an "on-demand" feature of the website. Free video highlight packages will continue to be available in 2007 and should be uploaded to the website on Wednesdays each week. Free audio coverage of the opening day Sunday afternoon race will be available on the website at noon on Monday, May 14th. For the first time the Oswego Speedway management has decided to reward those active members of the military, who are home on leave, free grandstand admission for all regular season races in 2007. This offer extends from Opening Day, May 13th right through the Wednesday night DIRT Special on August 22nd. The offer to active military members also will include their immediate family members. (Read More)The Oswego Speedway would like to thank the several fans that have already turned in recyclable cans before the season has even started to help in reaching the goal of 100,000 cans collected during the 2007 racing season. Fans have been able to drop off a minimum of 150 cans to pick up a Novelis 150 "Can-Do" Pass. This pass will be punched while purchasing a race ticket on six different race dates of choice by a fan from opening Day through July 21st.
