NASCAR's Cup garage runneth over at DaytonaBy DAVID POOLE / The Charlotte Observer
There are 61 cars scheduled to begin practice for Daytona 500 qualifying Saturday.
With 21 other cars using garage stalls in preparation for the Budweiser Shootout tonight, there simply isn’t enough room for everyone in the Nextel Cup garage. So some teams – including former Nextel Cup champion Dale Jarrett’s new No. 44 Toyota team – are in overflow way over in the Truck Series garage.
When the Shootout cars are gone after Saturday night, the garage assignments will be reshuffled and everyone will move back into the Cup garage.
